A modest annual membership fee encourages people of all ages to join. Donations on top of the membership fee are always welcome!
The BV Naturalists, together with approximately 50 other clubs and societies in B.C. belong to BC Nature (The Federation of B.C. Naturalists). A large part of our club’s membership fee goes to BC Nature, which offers:
- The quarterly BC Nature magazine and regular E-Nature News,
- BC Nature camps, meetings and other events.
- Group insurance, charitable status, access to grants, virtual meetings, and other benefits for the club.
Annual Membership Fees (fees are due by April 30 each year)
- Individual: $20.00 per year
- Family: $25.00 per year
Membership Application for New Members:

- Online Registration & E-banking:
- Submit fees by e-transfer to treasurer@bvnaturalists.ca. No password is needed. Include a short message such as: “Jan Doe, new single membership 2022”
or “Doe family, new membership 2022 & 2023” - Send an email to info@bvnaturalists.ca with either the completed membership form attached or with the information from the Membership form included in your email.
Membership Renewal for Existing Members
- Online Registration & E-banking:
- Submit fees by e-transfer to treasurer@bvnaturalists.ca. No password is needed. If there is no change to your contact information, simply include a short message such as: “Jan Doe, single membership renewal 2022” or “Jan Doe, single membership renewal for 2 years + $50 donation”
- If there is a change to your contact information, or you would like to make suggestions for club activities please ALSO send an email to info@bvnaturalists.ca with either the membership form attached or with new information included in your email.
