Eric Smith is heading a hummingbird banding project at Northern Lights Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre on Telkwa High Rd, Smithers.
His goal is to band once per week until August. If there is a particular week where people want to watch or get involved just let Eric know.
Banding takes place from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Northern Lights Wildlife Shelter. The banding is highly weather dependent so they aim for a particular day and then adjust based on the weather.
